EFFICIENT, EFFECTIVE LAB TESTS
Dr. Connor offers a variety of home and office lab tests for hormone levels, digestive issues, menopause and more, all aimed at better and more efficient healthcare in a convenient environment. Contact us to learn more about how these efficient lab tests can help you monitor and improve your health.
The Dutch test, offered through Precision Analytical, allows our patients to easily send the kit from the comfort of their own home to test dried urine for hormone levels and metabolism of these hormones.
Stool testing provides immediate, actionable clinical information for the management of gastrointestinal health. This test offers valuable insight into digestive function, intestinal inflammation, and the intestinal microbiome.
Salivary testing: this test utilizes salivary samples of the hormones cortisol and DHEA to measure specific hormone levels and cortisol patterns that measure each patient’s unique levels during the course of the day.
Cleveland Heart Labs offers in-depth cardiovascular testing that Dr. Connor employs in her preventative approach to health with her patients who are interested in this approach. These lab results uncover hidden risk for heart attack and stroke that typical mainstream screening labs do not reveal. As heart disease continues to be the leading cause of death in the United States, this test allows patients to assess risk in a much more detailed manner than before. With these labs, we take into account inflammation risk factors as well – as we now know these to be very important in cardiovascular health and in predicting risk. In turn, knowledge of these results allows us to work with patients to weigh treatment considerations based on more in-depth labs. This is a blood draw and urine sample covered by many insurance plans.
We work with Natera for some of our genetic testing. Natera’s EMPOWER test is used to identify cancer risk due to hereditary cancer syndromes; This simple blood or saliva test checks for the presence of 53 genes and variants associated with a heightened risk for common hereditary cancers – all to help individuals assess their risk.
